I live with a cat and I work in fashion, and my two favorite things meet this upcoming season.
It’s so exciting too see my favorite animal on the runway – cats on the catwalk!
GUCCI – The new creative director, Alessandro Michele, who successfully brought Gucci to the next level, featured felines in his latest collection. Interestingly, the same tiger appliqué is shown on two different styles, a bulky college sweater and a beautiful mint tulle dress.
DOLCE & GABBANA – Those little kittens on the tweed jacket! They featured real cat figures, the kind that can be seen on a cute kitten Instagram account with 1k followers.
DRIES VAN NOTEN – Beautiful leopard from Dries. So pretty. Also, the eye makeup and fur collar reinforces the cat feeling. Another representation comes from a beautiful suit style with feline prints – so Dries.

LOEWE – One of my favorite designers, J.W. Anderson, created super eye-catching accessories for this collection! CAT HEAD!
CHANEL – Speaking of accessories, Chanel also included cats in their handbags and small accessories. The cat prints are also applied on their jackets.
STELLA MCCARTNEY – Cat fever has already started in Pre Fall, apparently. Stella McCartney, a super animal-free fashion designer, presented great images of her cat prints for Pre-Fall with beautiful cats.
MIU MIU – The beauty world is also in love with cats, perhaps. The very first perfume from Miu Miu shows a unique and nicely designed bottle with a cute tuxedo cat! Such a great contrast and feminine image.
I love reviewing runway photos for any season, but this time, it’s been just so purr-fectly fun to see all those catwalk images! Yay!
